My love for Indo-Chinese cuisine influenced me to cook this delicious, easy-to-make chilly chicken recipe. I tried to make an easy version of this popular dish and it turned out to be good. It can be served with plain white rice or fried rice.

Ingredients
· 1 chicken breast diced
· 1 medium red onion thinly sliced
· 1 tomato thinly sliced
· 2 tbsp butter
· 6-7 garlic cloves minced
· 3 medium chilies thinly sliced
· 1 tsp chili powder
· 1 tbsp of pepper powder
· 1 tbsp soya sauce
· ½ tbsp ginger garlic paste
· 2 tbsp lemon juiced
· 2 tbsp oil
· 1 tsp sugar
· 1 tbsp sea salt
· Corn flour as required
· 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
· Parsley for garnishing
Instructions
1. Marinate the chicken with 1 tbsp of soya sauce, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp of pepper, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp chilli powder, ½ tbsp of ginger garlic paste, and set it aside for 20 mins.
2. Heat oil and butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
3. Add chopped garlic cloves and minced chilies and stir it for 30-40 seconds.
4. Add chopped onions and fry it till onions turn golden brown.
5. Add tomatoes and cover the saucepan and let it cook till tomatoes turn soft.
6. Once the tomatoes turn soft add chilli powder, pepper powder, soya sauce, tomato ketchup and stir it for 2-3 minutes.
7. Dip the marinated chicken in corn flour and fry the chicken pieces in a separate pan with oil until medium cooked.
8. Remove the chicken and add it to the onion tomato mixture.
9. Add 1 tbsp of corn flour to 2 tbsp of water in a small bowl and then add this paste to the saucepan.
10. Add salt and sugar as required.
11. Cook the chicken for 10-15 minutes.
12. Garnish this dish with parsley leaves.
13. Chilli chicken is ready 😊
